Health Authority Approval

Arcterra offers the inspections and tests required for your Health Authority Approval (HAA) Certificate issued by the Municipality of Anchorage confirming that your well/septic system is in compliance with the standards established by the municipality. Septic Testing

Septic system adequacy test (SAT) - The purpose of a SAT is to determine whether a drainfield can continually absorb the daily required introduction of wastewater from a residence. The MOA considers the data from the adequacy test to be valid for up to two years. Consequently, they will issue a Health Authority Approval based upon the data for up to two years after the testing date. If the system is deemed to be failed, an upgrade is usually the recommended course of action. Read More about Septic Testing Services.

Septic System Design

From initial records inspection through completion of your As-Built drawings, Arcterra has extensive experience in designing septic systems for property in South Central, Alaska. Well Testing

A Well Adequacy Test (WAT) determines whether a well is able to meet the production requirements established by the State of Alaska, the Municipality of Anchorage or Federal Housing Authority for the residence served. Test results are considered valid for 2 years after the testing date. Water samples are also taken to verify standards for safe drinking water. Read more about Well Testing.
